THE BRIEF
Leapfrog Search was retained by a global information technology company to conduct a search assignment for two Senior Sales Executives capable of selling transformational outsourcing solutions.
Although our client had not won any outsourcing deals greater than $100m in recent years, the brief stipulated the need to find people capable of winning deals of this size.
THE RESULT
The first candidate appointment came from a major competitor organisation and met the criteria perfectly. The second candidate came from a services background
and although he did not meet all criteria, Leapfrog Search
felt
that this person had the qualities and potential to succeed
in this role.
Within 12 months of effecting the two placements, both candidates had won outsourcing contracts between $100m and $400m in value. |
